We hope that through this market we can encourage friendships to be made, community spirit, an awareness for being eco-friendly as well as for Blessings in a Bag and its projects. There are 60 stall slots avail each month!
+ONE THEME. ONE MONTH
Each month we present to you a THEME. You can suggest themes that you think would be AWESOME to have. For example, for one month we may have a JAPANESE theme where half the stalls must carry products to suit. The other half will be 'anything goes'. So suggest a theme now in the discussion board or on the wall! We want to hear from YOU!
+ ALL STALLS WILL BE
FREE of charge! Yep - no rental fee! But you can donate money to Blessings in a Bag or donate items you think kids would love to have at the end of the day. Please email emilyteng@blessingsinabag.
Each stall vendor can select the following options:
1. 10-20% of all sales to be donated
2. 50% of all sales to be donated
3. 100% of all sales to be donated (we appreciate all the people who have expressed their interest in this option as we do need funding!)
We ask that all stall vendors bring their own chairs and tables. We hope that by doing so we encourage the use of recycled furniture or even better - be as creative as you can by using materials that have been thrown away. eg, you can make a stall out of tyres and planks of wood!
You can even operate out of luggages or suitcases!

+BE GREEN
-We encourage everyone to bring their own cotton bags to reduce the number of plastic bags used.
-Again, all stall vendors will have to bring their own tables and chairs or create their own recycled stall!
+REAL CAUSE
The flea market is a project under Blessings in a Bag (www.blessingsinabag.com) We will be there every month collecting donations in the form of clothing, toys, books, school supplies, etc - please make sure they are all in GOOD CONDITION. If an item is something you would never give to your own child or little brother or sister - don't give it to us! We try our best and pride ourselves in being as interactive and proactive as possible.
+ONE MAN'S TRASH IS ANOTHER MAN'S...
We're gonna collect recycled materials such as Glass bottles, fabric/material, aluminium cans and plastic water bottles! Please bring along CLEAN items and deposit them at the flea market - ask the Blessings in a Bag team members for info!

Our very first WTF.MKT will kick-start on the 5th of OCTOBER at 12pm till 5pm!
